Responsibilities
  • Lead the company's FP&A function, including annual budgets, multi-year plans, quarterly reforecasts, rolling forecasts, and scenario-based modeling.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance integrated financial models covering revenue, originations, finance receivables, credit performance, operating expenses, debt, liquidity, cash flow, and key balance sheet and income statement drivers.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand operational trends, translate business drivers into financial forecasts, and provide actionable insights that support strategic and operating decisions.
  • Analyze variances between actual results, budget, forecast, and prior periods, clearly identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Support capital allocation, product strategy, pricing, growth, cost management, and operational efficiency initiatives through rigorous financial analysis and business case development.
  • Own the executive point of view on performance: determine which variances, risks, and opportunities warrant leadership attention and what management action is recommended.
  • Continuously improve forecasting accuracy, model governance, reporting cadence, and analytical processes.
  • Oversee preparation of investor reporting packages, lender materials, performance updates, external presentations, and other financial communications requiring consistent, transparent, and compelling messaging.
  • Partner with treasury, capital markets, accounting, legal, and executive leadership to ensure investor and lender reporting is accurate, timely, complete, and aligned with company messaging.
  • Support responses to investor, lender, rating agency, and other external stakeholder inquiries, including analysis of financial performance, portfolio trends, funding metrics, liquidity, and business outlook.
  • Monitor industry, peer, and capital markets trends to inform senior leadership, support external positioning, and strengthen investor communications.
  • Contribute to financing, securitization, diligence, refinancing, and strategic transaction workstreams as needed.
  • Lead the preparation of board financial materials, executive management reporting packages, quarterly financial updates, and supplemental financial information.
  • Develop concise, board-ready narratives that explain performance trends, variances, business drivers, risks, opportunities, and management actions.
  • Ensure board and executive materials are accurate, internally consistent, visually clear, and supported by reliable data and analysis.
  • Present financial information to senior executives, business leaders, and the Board of Directors as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain reporting standards, calendars, quality-control procedures, and review processes for recurring executive and board reporting.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams by providing timely, data-driven, and practical financial guidance.
  • Partner across the organization to align reporting, forecasting, and performance analytics across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, liquidity, capital usage, and operating performance.
  • Lead ad hoc financial analyses and special projects related to strategic initiatives, transformation efforts, product performance, cost savings, revenue optimization, and financial risk management.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, continuous improvement, and high-quality communication across the finance function.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team that supports business leaders with accurate analysis, clear reporting, and strong decision support.
  • Set clear expectations, priorities, and development plans for team members while fostering collaboration, ownership, and professional growth.
  • Enhance FP&A processes, reporting tools, data governance, dashboards, and automation to improve accuracy, timeliness, scalability, and insight generation.
