Job description

Job Responsibilities Join South Carolina state government where you can have a meaningful career, incomparable benefits, and a positive work-life balance. In this position you will be responsible for the following job duties: Supervise daily operations of a 24 hour recovery center to ensure safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for consumers. Ensure recovery plans are consumer focused.

Recruit, hire and retain employees. Lead, supervise, and mentor recovery center staff to deliver consumer centered services, comply with policies, procedures, and licensing requirements, and achieve the Agency mission. Complete performance appraisals and planning documents.

Develop and manage the annual budget in accordance to Agency policy and procedures. Oversee facility safety, cleanliness, and security protocols to maintain compliance and welcoming environment. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Minimum and Additional Requirements Master's degree required, preferably in Rehabilitation Counseling, Addictions Counseling, or a related field. Minimum of two years of experience in leadership roles required, required. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), or Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), preferred.

Requires local travel; occasional overnight travel required. If invited to interview, please obtain your Official 10 year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles to bring with you. Official transcripts will be required to verify college degree.
