What do we need:
We are looking for a Consumer & Market Insights Analyst to join our Market Research Team. As a CMI Analyst, you will leverage consumer, distributor, market, and competitive insights and drivers to guide the development of business objectives, market strategies, and operating plans.
What's special about this role:
This role is critical to the success of our transformation of ABOs as the center of Health & Wellbeing communities. The incumbent will be responsible for synthesizing data, to better help both internal customers and ABOs understand Amway's unique right-to-win. A critical skill in this role is the ability to synthesize large and disparate sources to identify vital customer and market insights to make the business successful. To do this, the applicant will need to have a depth of understanding of field research methodologies, a talent for making complex data and related information relatable, and an ability to navigate the complex business environment of Amway to bring this work to life.
Other responsibilities but not limited to are:
  • Key capability areas include brand building, concept development, concept/advertising testing, competitive intelligence.
  • Define and develop market research questions that impact organizational strategies, business goals and operating plans while devising market studies and projects to investigate conditions and collect relevant data for analysis
  • Analyze research findings and provide insight to clients to support the development of brand strategies, product improvements and new products
  • Investigate the consumer experience to support development of marketing and brand reputation initiatives
  • Guide distributor experience assessments through various frameworks to support development of business opportunity strategies
  • Leading in-field primary research efforts requiring stakeholder management, research orchestration and on-site coordination.
  • Analyze business plans from micro to macro level (i.e., product/brand/category/portfolio) to recommend optimal alignment
  • Delivers ad hoc tracking systems

Required qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience delivering market insights and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with market research principles and practices
  • BS degree in Marketing, Finance, International Business, or a related field OR relative experience

Skills to be successful in the role:
  • Talent to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to bring projects forward to completion
  • Knowledge of market research principles and practices
  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis procedures and software
  • Knowledge of the organization, its brands and ABO roles
  • Ability to balance competing demands and meet deadlines
