Position Summary:

The Consumer & Shopper Insights Analyst will support Samyang’s Commercial Insights & Market Intelligence function by executing consumer and shopper research projects across North America and Latin America. This role will help translate business questions into research execution, working across qualitative, quantitative, primary and secondary research approaches to generate clear, actionable learnings.

This position is ideal for someone with strong research fundamentals, curiosity about consumer behavior, and the ability to organize, synthesize, and communicate findings clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of consumer and shopper insights projects across North America and Latin American markets.

  • Assist in the development of research materials such as briefs, questionnaires, discussion guides, and stimulus.

  • Coordinate project execution with external research agencies and vendors.

  • Support qualitative and quantitative research studies, including analysis and summary of findings.

  • Organize and synthesize consumer, shopper, and market learning into clear reports and presentations.

  • Conduct desk research and secondary research to support business questions and project development.

  • Support work related to shopper behavior.

  • Help identify key findings and implications from research results.

  • Maintain research files, knowledge repositories, and learning summaries for future use.

  • Support cross-functional teams by providing timely and accurate consumer and shopper inputs for business discussions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in consumer insights, shopper insights, market research, or related roles.

  • Experience supporting qualitative and quantitative research projects.

  • Ability to summarize findings clearly and connect them to business questions.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong PowerPoint/Canva and Excel skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • English, Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency required.

  • AI proficiency is a must (agents’ development & others).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in CPG, food and beverage, retail, or consumer-driven industries.

  • Familiarity with North America and/or Latin America markets.

  • Experience working with external research agencies or research platforms.

  • Exposure to shopper insights, innovation research, social listening, or brand health research.

  • Spanish and Portuguese proficiency.

  • Experience supporting multicultural or multi-market research initiatives.

The base salary for this position is between $28.00/hr and $33.00/hr. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
