Job description

An experienced advisor with a strong background in GBS (Shared Services), Operating Model design, and Transformation to drive growth in multiple regions / geography. The Ideal candidate will have prior experience in consulting selling within a BIG 4 or leading management consulting environment, combined with deep domain expertise in Shared Service transformation, Operating Model Transformation and Digital Finance solutions.
Key responsibilities:
1. GBS and Shared Service Advisory
• Advise clients on establishing or optimizing the Global Business Services centers.
• Drive design and implementation of shared-service operating models for process P2P, O2C, R2R across multiple regions.
• Define and track GBS performance metrics (KPI/SLAs) to ensure service quality, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
2. Sales Strategy & Market Development
• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for GBS & Shared services in multiple regions.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with growth targets.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
• Contribute to brand-building initiatives and thought leadership in the F&A domain.
3. Sales Cycle management
• Identify and engage prospective clients across industries to understand their finance transformation needs.
• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure.
4. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers [CFOs, Controllers etc..].
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and value-driven solutions.
5. Solutioning and Proposal Development
• Collaborating with consulting and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals and customized solutions.
• Ensure Alignment between client requirement and internal capabilities.
6. AI & Digital Innovation
• Leverage AI and machine-learning tools such as intelligent automation, predictive analysis, and natural language / Large Language Models to enhance finance processing, drive insights, and deliver next-generation solutions.
7. Cross-functional collaboration
• Partner with global practice leaders, marketing, and delivery team to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
• Provide market feedback to refine current offerings and support capability development.
Must have skills:
• Experience in sales, busin ess development, or in client leadership roles within GBS consulting or transformation space.
• Proven track record in consultative sales with a Big 4 or Tier 1 consulting firm.
• Strong understanding of GBS (Shared Services), Operating Model design, and Digital Transformation.
• Demonstrate structured thinking and solutioning client expectations.
• Proven execution and results driven delivery.
• Should lead and drive Innovation, thought leadership & continuous improvement in the service delivery and expansion of services for our clients.
• Demonstrate ability to close large complex deals and manage long sales & consulting cycles.
• Excellent relationship building, negotiating, and executive communication skills.
• Based in the United States with willingness to travel for key client engagements.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday), RPA/ AI tools, and cloud-based finance solutions.
Qualifications:
• Masters degree in finance and accounting. A Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be a preference.
Salary Range: $182,800 - $225,000 a year
