JOB SUMMARY
UHY Consulting is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing team in Atlanta. This role will lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries, with a focus on shared services, close optimization, and core accounting processes.
The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, deep finance expertise, and a passion for improving how finance organizations operate.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead finance transformation engagements from strategy through execution
  • Assess current-state finance and accounting operations and identify improvement opportunities
  • Design and implement shared services models and operating structures
  • Drive month-end close optimization initiatives, including process redesign and automation
  • Improve core accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
  • Partner with client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders) to align transformation initiatives with business goals
  • Manage project teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes
  • Support business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations
  • Mentor and develop junior team members

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 5-10+ years (Manager) or 10-15+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience
  • Prior consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Finance and Accounting Operations
    • Shared services design and implementation
    • Month-end close and record-to-report processes
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar a plus)
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
