Job description

We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Services Manager to lead and oversee a dynamic team dedicated to providing immediate, community-based crisis intervention and support for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies.

In this vital leadership role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered crisis services that promote safety, stabilization, and connection to ongoing care. The Mobile Crisis Services Manager is responsible for clinical and operational oversight, staff development, quality improvement, and collaboration with community partners, first responders, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled problem-solver, and passionate advocate for accessible behavioral health services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to:

Ensure timely, compliant, and thorough completion of crisis documentation and assessment/intake by assigned staff.

Ensure compliance with policy and procedure of Medicaid, managed care companies and other entities as necessary.

Develop a schedule to ensure 24 hour a day, 7-day available in person crisis coverage, including office coverage until 5 PM Monday Friday.

Provide crisis schedule coverage at least one shift per month.

Oversee and guide appropriate linkage and referral to internal and external resources for persons served

Assist and collaborate with the Director to ensure a minimum of one team meeting per month with documented agenda and minutes.

Enhance skills of staff in the areas of technical knowledge, work management, communication, and conflict management through teaching/modeling.

Provide on-call clinical consultation as QMHP/CADC a minimum of 2 weeks per month as assigned.

In collaboration with the Director, act as liaison to state and referral resources.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field and meeting the requirements to be credentialed as a QMHP per state of Illinois definitions; CADC preferred.

At least five years of professional experience in the field and three years of supervisory experience.
