Job description

The Role
People call us because they're ready to build something-a business, a second income, a path out of a career that isn't working. Our job at Breakthrough Closing (BTC) is to figure out if we can actually help them, and if we can, show them exactly how.
This is consultative work. You're not reading scripts or bulldozing objections. You're running a structured conversation: understanding someone's current situation, what they're trying to accomplish, and what's in the way. When the fit is right, you prescribe a solution and help them take the next step. When it's not, you tell them that too.
We sell education and business-building programs that give people real skills, real systems, and real support. The people you talk to are investing in themselves-and they deserve a rep who treats that decision with the seriousness it deserves.
What Your Day Looks Like
At BTC we have built an industry leading Sales Lab where you'll spend your time on the phone and on video with people who've already raised their hand-inbound leads who booked a call because they're interested. No cold calling. No door knocking. Your job starts when someone shows up ready to have a real conversation.
  • Run consultative discovery calls using a structured 5-phase framework: set the agenda, dig into their situation, earn permission to present, match a solution to their specific goals, and help them make a decision.
  • Listen more than you talk. The best calls are 70% prospect, 30% you. Understand their current state, where they want to go, and what's been stopping them.
  • Present solutions based on fit-not features. You're diagnosing a problem and recommending the right path, not dumping a product catalog.
  • Handle real concerns head-on. When someone says "I need to think about it," you don't let it hang-you help them figure out what's actually unresolved. When financing matters, you run it live so they can see real numbers, not hypotheticals.
  • Keep your CRM tight. Log every conversation, capture the details that matter, and document clear next steps. The system is built to make this easy, not bureaucratic.
  • Participate in daily coaching sessions, weekly call reviews, and ongoing skill development. This isn't one-and-done on-boarding-we invest in making you better every week.

How We Set You Up to Win
We don't hand you a login and wish you luck. The infrastructure here is built to make good reps great.
Inbound leads, not cold outreach
You're working with people who already want to talk. Your energy goes into the conversation, not hunting for one.
A proven call framework
You'll learn a structured approach to consultative conversations that's been refined across thousands of calls. It gives you a roadmap without making you robotic.
Coaching that's specific to you
Every call is recorded and reviewed. Coaching sessions are built around what actually happened on your calls-not generic advice. You'll know exactly what to work on and see yourself improve.
AI tools that work for you
Call summaries, follow-up drafts, and CRM updates are assisted by AI so you spend less time on admin and more time selling. The technology handles the paperwork; you handle the people.
A real objection-handling system
You won't be guessing how to respond when someone pushes back. We classify objections by type and teach you specific approaches for each. You'll get better at this faster than anywhere else.
Transparent scorecards
You always know where you stand. Daily, weekly, and monthly metrics are visible and clear. No surprises, no moving targets.
Who Thrives Here
This role is built for people who see sales as a profession, not a stepping stone. You take the craft seriously. You want to get better. You believe that when you help someone make the right decision, everybody wins.
  • 2+ years of sales experience where you consistently hit or exceeded targets. B2B, B2C, inside sales, or account management-what matters is that you've performed in a results-driven environment.
  • You're a natural at building rapport and trust quickly. People open up to you because you listen well and ask the right questions.
  • Coachable. You want direct feedback and you act on it. You'd rather hear the truth than get a pat on the back.
  • Comfortable with technology. You'll use a CRM daily and work alongside AI-assisted tools. Experience with Close, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Motivated by solving problems, not just closing deals. You understand that the best salespeople are the ones prospects trust.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset. You take ownership of your pipeline, your development, and your results.

Compensation & Growth
Base Salary
$36K
On-Target Earnings
$75K-$105K with uncapped commission
Commission Structure
Uncapped. Paid on cash collected. No ceiling on what you can earn with accelerators built in.
Advancement
Defined path from AE to Senior AE to leadership. We build leaders internally-not hire over you.
Development
Paid training and certification. Daily coaching. Weekly skill-building. This is a place where you get better.
Culture
Performance-driven, supportive, and transparent. Every metric is visible. Every win counts.
What You're Selling
Education and business-building programs designed for people who want to create something of their own. Our clients are entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, and professionals ready to invest in a proven system that gives them the knowledge, tools, and support to build real income.
These aren't impulse purchases. The people you'll talk to are making meaningful financial decisions about their futures. That's why we hire consultants, not closers. The right rep for this role takes pride in helping someone make the best decision for their situation-even when that means telling them it's not the right time.
When you close here, you know the person on the other end is walking into something that can genuinely change their trajectory. That matters.
How to Apply
Apply here: https://www.modern-amenities.com/career
Shortlisted candidates will complete a brief sales skills assessment before the first interview. We're looking for how you think through a conversation, not how you perform under trick questions.
If you're looking for a place that invests in your growth as much as it expects your performance-we should talk.
