Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $87,200.00 - $145,300.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 % based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details

 

The EIC (Early in Career) Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant & Program Advisor will execute full cycle search activities to source and qualify candidates for open intern requisitions for specific business placements. This individual will represent an established business unit and act as the strategic talent partner; providing researched recommendations on where to focus university recruitment efforts to ensure the highest return on investment. Success will be propelled by your ability to network, execute tenacious searches and pitch our fantastic career opportunities to score the best talent in the market. In an advisory capacity, you will partner with Hiring Managers, the Early in Career (EIC) Program Consultant and Human Resource Business Partners to manage multi-year talent strategies to enable EIC talent to be part of the larger business growth plan. As a Program Advisor, you will also partner closely with your business function to carry out operational and strategic processes for program-related initiatives such as rotational programs, manager trainings, and leadership communications. You will report to the Manager of EIC and will be required to come into the office at least twice a week, more frequently during high recruitment peaks as needed.

You Will

  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee the recruitment for interns and graduate rotational program through workforce planning, full-cycle recruitment, event management, and developmental offerings
  • Provide training, guidance and resources to Rotational Managers on an ongoing cyclical basis which may include onboarding and offboarding new hire/rotators, performance management, and programming
  • Create and execute customized University search strategy with Campus Hiring Teams including target candidate profiles, job postings, social media marketing and campus events
  • Build relationships and serve as the liaison between Grainger and career center personnel, college faculty, and student organizations at target universities; travel to university campuses during peak season to attend key events
  • Improve recruiting processes by sharing best practices, and new recruiting tools and methodologies with the Talent Acquisition team where applicable
  • Lead efforts to help grow our talent pipeline through directly sourcing candidates, networking, and developing partnerships with diversity and specialty groups
  • Maintain knowledge of compensation offerings, benefits, salary structures and long-term incentive plans for potential candidates
  • Partner with various HR functions to ensure processes within pre-employment, onboarding, compensation and HR business partners are properly executed

You Have

 

  • Bachelor's Degree BA/BS degree preferred
  • 5+ years Talent Acquisition experience; preferably 5 or more years as a full-cycle recruiting consultant required
  • Expertise in all sourcing methods including LinkedIn recruiter, social media, networking, and experience with diversity sourcing
  • Knowledge of local regulatory compliance and employment law
  • Working experience in program management, event coordination, and learning & development offerings
  • Proficiency using an Applicant Tracking system, common desktop applications, and social media usage
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within the United States to attend career fairs, University activities and Grainger intern/rotational program events during peak season
