This individual is a skilled communicator and relationship builder who can align customer objectives with engineering execution, drive collaboration across technical and leadership stakeholders, and ensure engineering deliverables meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to manage competing priorities while fostering accountability, transparency, and operational excellence throughout the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary on-site technical representative, building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders while ensuring alignment between customer objectives and engineering execution.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering programs by developing project plans, schedules, resource strategies, and program milestones.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams, including Systems, Verification & Validation (V&V), Mechanical, and other technical disciplines, to coordinate project activities and drive successful program delivery.
  • Manage program execution by assigning priorities, coordinating engineering resources, tracking deliverables, and resolving schedule conflicts to maintain project momentum.
  • Act as the central communication point between the customer, engineering teams, and leadership, providing regular program status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify program risks, technical dependencies, and resource constraints while developing proactive plans to minimize impacts to cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Facilitate technical reviews, planning meetings, and customer discussions, ensuring action items are documented, communicated, and completed.
  • Establish and maintain program dashboards, schedules, and performance metrics to provide visibility into project health and execution progress.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve engineering processes, communication, and overall program efficiency.
  • Support configuration management, documentation control, and adherence to customer and company engineering processes throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and applicable aviation industry standards.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment that promotes accountability, transparency, and strong partnerships between customer and engineering organizations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical discipline.
  • Five or more years of experience in engineering, technical program management, project leadership, or systems integration within the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Technical background in Systems Engineering, Verification & Validation (V&V), Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex engineering programs involving cross-functional teams and multiple technical stakeholders.
  • Experience serving in a customer-facing role with responsibility for building relationships, coordinating technical activities, and managing program execution.
  • Strong understanding of engineering development lifecycles, systems integration, verification processes, and technical project planning.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, aviation, defense, or advanced mobility is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, scheduling software, and program reporting methodologies.
  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control regulations.

Core Competencies:
