Job description

Position Overview
The Program Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for the successful execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of the Work for Warriors Vermont program. This individual ensures all program objectives, performance metrics, and contractual requirements are achieved while providing strategic guidance to stakeholders. The role requires a balance of operational leadership, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder engagement to support employment outcomes for service members, veterans, and their families.
**This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full operational oversight of program execution, staffing, and service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and advisor to government leadership, including the State Family Program Director.
  • Manage program performance, ensuring compliance with all reporting, outreach, and placement requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve employment outcomes and program efficiency.
  • Oversee data collection, tracking systems, and performance analytics to inform decisions.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with employers, military units, and community organizations.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required reports (monthly, quarterly, annual, and after-action).
  • Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across all program functions.
Required Skills
  • Strong program and operations management experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multi-site service delivery
  • Experience working with government contracts or federally funded programs
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
