Dermatology Faculty Position

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston seeks faculty at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks in the Department of Dermatology.

UTHealth Houston is the most comprehensive academic health center in the UT System and the U.S. Gulf Coast region. We are proud to be part of the world's largest medical center, which enables us to partner with several nationally recognized clinical affiliates. The university's primary teaching hospitals are Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center (TMC), Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, and Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.

The Department of Dermatology provides exceptional dermatologic care across six+ locations, including UT Physicians Bellaire Station and Harris Health clinics, with strong interdepartmental collaboration and UT MD Anderson, and expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology, surgical dermatology, dermatopathology, and cosmetic treatments.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Areas of subspecialty interest may include inpatient consultative dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and/or dermatology of skin of color. The successful candidate will provide patient care and participate in the training of our residents and students.

Qualifications:

  • MD
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in both practicing and teaching general dermatology. A commitment to resident education is necessary.
