We service the upstate of South Carolina, Northeast Georgia and Western North Carolina. With five divisions and five offices in the coastal and upstate regions of South Carolina, we are proud to offer superior services to the southeastern United States.
The General Construction Division is focused on being the premier general contractor in our service area. We pursue projects in the following sectors: Industrial, Amenities/Community, Higher Education/K-12, Commercial and Governmental.
The position of Construction Project Manager is an integral part of the General Construction Team and will be involved in numerous facets of the team to keep production on their projects running efficiently while working to mitigate project constraints which could impact budget and schedule. This person will work closely with the assigned project team to establish the direction of each project and ensure a quality project is delivered within budget and on schedule to the specifications which have been agreed upon. This person is also responsible for managing the work of Subcontractors and insuring they are working in a cooperative and efficient manner which supports the projectโ€™s success.

  • Responsible for Maintaining Client Satisfaction on Assigned Project(s)
  • Participates in Project Reviews with Preconstruction Team on Assigned Project
  • Participates in Handoff of Project from Preconstruction Team to Project Team
  • Responsible for Development of Project Execution Plan (with Superintendent)
  • Responsible for the Development and Finalizing of the Project Schedule (with Superintendent)
  • Participate in the Development of Site-Specific Safety amp; Quality Requirements
  • Responsible for the Timely Buyout of all Major Purchase Orders and Subcontracts (30 Day Target for Buyout)
  • Submit Subcontracts and Purchase Orders to Sr. PM for Approval
  • Obtain all Required Permits and Business Licenses
  • Develop of Schedule of Values (to DM for Approval)
  • Accountable for Obtaining Insurance and Bonding from all Subcontractors
  • Responsible for Submission of all Requests for Information to Designer and Owners
  • Responsible for Submission of all Submittals for Approval and Tracking of Submittal Log
  • Accountable for Obtaining, Submitting, Reviewing, and Approval of Product or Detailed Design Information Submittals as Required for each Project (30 Day from Award Completion Target)
  • Responsible to Lead and Document Weekly Subcontractor Meetings and Weekly OAC Meetings
  • Responsible for Maintaining Project Schedule (with Superintendent)
  • Accountable for Submitting all Delay Notices Timely
  • Accountable for Maintaining Project Budget
  • Accountable for Adherence to Contract Terms and Conditions
  • Ensure Regular Project Photos and Daily Reports are being Completed in Procore
  • Accountable for Maintaining Project Documents within Procore System
  • Responsible for Maintaining Open Communications and being Main Point of Contact for Owner and Subcontractors
  • Responsible for Timely Owner and Subcontractor Change Management for all Project Change Events and Ensure all Execution Documentation is Completed and Filed Properly prior to work starting
  • Generate and Submit All Customer Invoices by Deadline Date Referenced in Contract Documents
  • Ensure Timely Payments are Received from Customer
  • Responsible for Maintaining Cash Positive Position on the Project
  • Ensure all Subcontractor Invoices are Received and Approved Monthly
  • Provide Customer with Turnover Manual and O amp;M Documentation and Closure of Project
  • Responsible to Completely Close Out Project (Internally) within 30 days of Certificate of Occupancy or per Contract Requirements
  • Complete Work in Progress and Executive Summary Reports Monthly
  • Complete Project Update Reports Weekly
Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with construction project management software is a plus, but not required
  • Reading contract documents and P amp;ID drawings
  • Working knowledge of project estimating, planning, scheduling and budgeting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that align with core values
  • 5+ Years of experience with knowledge of construction, design, and cost management
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in construction science amp; management or related field is preferred
