Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse, yard, and delivery operations to support multiple active construction projects. This role will manage receiving, inventory organization, material distribution, routing, and fleet readiness to ensure materials and equipment are delivered accurately, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational discipline, and a safety-first mindset, with hands-on experience managing warehouse teams and logistics in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the President and plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, jobsite support, and overall company productivity
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
  • Keep warehouse organized and stocked in the proper designated area
  • Train and monitor the unloading of all material into the receiving area to ensure material is staged for counting and inspecting
  • Receive and check all deliveries
  • Ensure all receiving slips are accurate and report all materials received
  • Resolve discrepancies with packing slips with proper department
  • Plan and coordinate all sales orders for all company projects
  • Distribute material and equipment to the projects it belongs to
  • Direct and coordinate all pick-ups and deliveries from vendors and projects
  • Plan all routing for deliveries to jobsites and pickups from vendors in an efficient timely manner
  • Ensure delivery trucks are loaded completely for next day deliveries
  • Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the property area such as the outside perimeter and the grounds to ensure all material is stored in the yard area properly
  • Responsible for training, motivating, monitoring and evaluating the performance of the warehouse employees to ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move material to and from the storage facilities
  • Conduct weekly safety toolbox talk with warehouse team
  • Ensure delivery trucks are clean and safe to operate
  • Responsible for making sure delivery trucks have all lifting and loading tools needed to offload material
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma
  • Five years warehouse and logistics experience
  • Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred

Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 Annually
