Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage day to day construction site operations and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with our high standards of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight & Execution

  • Manage and oversee daily on-site construction activities from start to finish.
  • Conduct full quality assurance checks to ensure work meets company standards before inspections or turnover.
  • Monitor material usage and minimize site waste to control costs.
  • Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Supervise subcontractors, crews, and vendors to ensure high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and local officials.
  • Coordinate and lead pre-construction and progress meetings with the build team.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project plans.
  • Oversee site safety practices, conduct safety briefings, and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Coordinate utility installations, final inspections, and close-out procedures with local authorities.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Use Buildertrend to document daily logs, track progress, submit change orders, and upload site photos.
  • Keep accurate records of site conditions, inspections, and milestones.
  • Upload progress photos and documentation into CompanyCam per company standards.

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate regularly with architects, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers.
  • Interface with clients and homeowners to provide updates and resolve concerns.
  • Assist with procurement and scheduling of materials, equipment, and deliveries.

Technical Expertise

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design.
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction issues and design conflicts.

Qualifications – Perferred

·         Minimum 1-2  years of experience in residential construction

·         Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations

·         Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents

·         Experience with project management software such as Buildertrend

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education:

·         High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.

·         Associate degree or higher in Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
