Entry Level Plasterer (Hod Carrier)

In need of a Hod carrier for plaster applications and stucco.

Will train the right candidate for a career opportunity with advancement opportunities and Competitive Pay.

The Plaster Laborer (Hod Carrier) performs entry-level tasks and supports the lead plasterers in repairs and renovation work of stucco, plastering, masonry, and tile hard and soft wetting, and is responsible for mixing materials to a correct consistency. The Plaster Laborer (Hod Carrier) is responsible for carrying material and ensuring the team has what is needed to keep progressing forward. This position will lead to training in the field, and plenty of hands-on experience to learn the trade over time.

Hod carrier duties as follows:

  • Mask off project with protective coverings, set up scaffolding, and set up a mixing station on numerous project.
  • Mix mud for plasters and must be able to lift 50LB - 80Lb on a regular basis.
  • Run a Hog drill.
  • Aid in helping plasters get the proper materials and tools as needed.
  • As you advance, we will teach you the art of plaster and stucco applications, as this is a specialty trade and pay is considerable when you become a journeyman.

Required Qualifications:

  • Require no experience as a Plasterer/Mason
  • Require the ability to follow directions
  • Requires consistent hustle and drive throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift 80lbs
  • Requires the ability to work with supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Prefer working knowledge of hand tools pertinent to trade(s)
