Job description

A leading construction management firm is seeking senior-level schedulers to join their team supporting Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority rail projects across the San Fernando Valley. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in document control & configuration management for civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, track, utilities, light rail maintenance and storage facilities, and light rail systems.


A leading construction management firm is seeking senior-level schedulers to join their team supporting Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority rail projects across the San Fernando Valley. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in document control & configuration management for civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, track, utilities, light rail maintenance and storage facilities, and light rail systems.


Duties include but are not limited to:

* Support project management with scheduling deliverables based upon program management department policies and procedures as follows:

* Develop and maintain cost loaded and integrated project master schedule, control level schedule and detailed schedules.

* Identify key activities, milestones, constraints, and interfaces for coordination purposes.

* Establish and monitor the schedule critical path and assess schedule variances.

* Support project and program meetings and review contractor schedule deliverables in accordance with contract specifications.

* Perform schedule time impact analysis of potential delay items and provide recommendations for delay mitigation.

* Develop schedule contingency analysis. Perform contingency drawdown analysis as part of forecasting and trend analysis.

* Evaluate schedule trends and develop mitigation measures to deliver projects on-time.

* Maintain all data within the Project Management Information System (PMIS).

Qualifications

* Experienced with updating and maintaining data in Primavera Unifier

* A minimum of 5 years' experience performing configuration management work.

* Analyze, quality check, file, and retrieve electronic construction-related documents

* Process documents on incoming and outgoing transmittals

* Review and/or quality check technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other documents

* Identify and use the correct tools, systems, and techniques to index, file, and control documentation

* Work with multiple contractors, project team members, and project management with the control, distribution, maintenance, and retrieval of project-related documents

* Work proactively to resolve issues and mitigate risks

* Support other team members and the client on document control procedures




  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business
  • 5 years' experience scheduling in Primavera P6 on large civil projects
  • AACE International certification is highly preferred
