Position Overview

Eagle Ridge Construction & Roofing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for roofing and general construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing plans and specifications, performing material takeoffs, and coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and project managers.

This role plays an important part in helping the company secure new projects and ensuring jobs are properly scoped and priced before construction begins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing and construction projects
  • Perform material takeoffs and quantity calculations
  • Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids
  • Prepare and submit proposals and bid packages
  • Work closely with project managers and field teams during the bidding process
  • Track bid opportunities and maintain estimating records
  • Assist with change orders and scope reviews as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients

Qualifications

  • Experience in roofing, construction estimating, or project management
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
