The Opportunity

You will serve as the primary operational leader, taking absolute ownership of high-stakes concrete construction projects from pre-planning through final closeout. This role empowers you to act as the central point of contact for premier clients while managing multi-million dollar budgets alongside our field superintendents. You will have the strategic autonomy to drive execution, control project finances, and cultivate elite field teams in an organization that rewards a winning mindset.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct the overall management, planning, and execution of comprehensive concrete construction projects to guarantee on-time delivery.
  • Analyze project specifications, bid drawings, and scopes of work to establish concrete-specific logistics and safety plans.
  • Evaluate project financial tracking, cost forecasting, and postmortem data to defend and maintain strict profit margins.
  • Schedule and facilitate critical pre-job alignment meetings with clients, field superintendents, subcontractors, and core suppliers.
  • Manage the creation, submittal procurement, tracking, and closeout of all project-specific RFIs and contract adjustments.
  • Develop and monitor comprehensive production schedules, utilizing administrative leadership to keep field foremen moving efficiently.
  • Negotiate complex change orders and coordinate directly with site leadership to resolve subcontractor scope disputes smoothly.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing operations specifically within commercial concrete construction.
  • Demonstrated proficiency performing deep financial analysis, cost management, and budget forecasting for complex builds.
  • Extensive track record of scheduling, reading project specifications, and managing comprehensive contractual requirements.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and developing junior project management professionals or assistant PMs.
  • Strong professional network and established relationships within the regional commercial subcontractor community.
