Job Summary

As a Regional Safety Professional at John W. Danforth Company, you will support safe work environments across our jobsites and facilities by partnering with operations teams to implement safety programs, identify risks, ensure compliance, and promote a strong safety culture. Your goal is to help reduce incidents and ensure every employee returns home safely each day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide guidance, training, and support to employees and project teams on safety policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular jobsite visits, inspections, and audits to identify and correct potential hazards. Partner with field leadership and operations teams to promote accountability and continuous safety improvement. Support the development and implementation of project-specific safety plans and programs. Lead or assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and recommend corrective actions. Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer safety requirements. Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and field teams. Maintain safety documentation, reports, and records as required. Encourage and promote a strong safety culture aligned with Danforth's values.

Qualifications

5-10 years of safety experience in construction, mechanical contracting, industrial, or a related industry. Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Self-starter with a commitment to safety, learning, and professional growth.

Compensation Range:   $85,000-$125,000
