Job description

At Building Hope, we believe that every child deserves access to a great public school. Families should have a variety of high-quality public school choices to choose from regardless of race, zip code, or the amount of money in their bank account.

Founded in 2003, Building Hope is a 501(c)(3) based in Washington D.C. that develops and finances safe, sustainable, thoughtfully designed, and educator-informed facilities with all the amenities to support student learning nationwide. Building Hope exists to help more public charter schools grow by eliminating facility development and financing obstacles so that more families have high-quality public school options.

In addition to supporting charter schools as full-scale real estate developers, we offer facility financing products, back-office services, and technical assistance. We are "all-in" to help our clients with whatever it takes to ensure they are prepared to set students up for success in college and life.

We are excited to expand our footprint in Texas and build a team to help more high-impact charter schools with their school facilities! We are looking for two Project Managers who live in Austin, Houston, or San Antonio, to support school construction projects in Texas.

Travel: Must be willing to travel weekly throughout Texas (50%)

Phase Two Development for A New Client - A single-site charter school in year two of operations with 300 students needs your expertise to support a real estate development project that will include design, budgeting, bidding, permitting, and ongoing management of their Phase Two construction over a 10-week window next summer.
About You
