Residential Construction Project Manager


Location: Connecticut (Anywhere in Connecticut)


Contemporary Tiny Homes designs, sells, and builds ADUs in Connecticut. We move fast, build efficiently, and care deeply about customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to lead residential projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring jobs are on schedule, within budget, code-compliant, and well communicated.


This role is for someone who has built homes from scratch, understands Connecticut permitting and building codes, knows how to manage subs assertively but professionally, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where every dollar matters.


Residential Construction Project Management Responsibilities

  • Manage residential construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams to keep projects moving quickly and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of reliable, competitively priced subcontractors in Connecticut.
  • Manage permits, inspections, and compliance with Connecticut residential building codes.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with customers and internal stakeholders through regular updates.
  • Track budgets closely, control costs, and make sound decisions that balance speed, quality, and price.
  • Effectively leverage project management tools, CRMs, shared drives, spreadsheets, and internal communication platforms to stay organized and keep work transparent.
  • Identify problems early and solve them quickly.
