About the Company
Our client is an established commercial general contractor based in Atlanta with a strong reputation for customer service, teamwork, quality execution, and an entrepreneurial culture.
The company specializes in construction throughout the restaurant, fast-food, retail, and banking sectors, with projects typically ranging from $3 million to $6 million. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator who wants to join a collaborative organization where estimating plays a direct role in the company's continued growth and success.
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates for commercial construction projects. The Estimator will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to develop detailed bids and help secure new business.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience with fast-food restaurants, retail, commercial, banking, or similar construction, along with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for fast-food restaurant, retail, and commercial construction projects.
  • Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and develop project budgets.
  • Solicit, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and supporting documentation.
  • Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting critical bid deadlines.

Requirements
  • 3-10 years of construction estimating experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous estimating experience in restaurant, fast-food, retail, commercial, or similar construction.
  • Experience estimating projects in the $3M-$6M range.
  • Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, materials, scopes of work, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project costs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Stable career history and demonstrated interest in long-term professional growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Must be based in or willing to work in Atlanta, GA.
