Position Summary

Mosaic Construction Services is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations. This role is responsible for managing daily field activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and code compliance, and maintaining project schedule performance.

The Superintendent plays a critical role in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Coordination

  • Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor activities from project start to completion

  • Supervise and mentor field staff and subcontractors

  • Coordinate with inspectors, suppliers, and project teams

Scheduling & Project Execution

  • Develop and maintain lookahead schedules

  • Conduct regular foreman and subcontractor meetings

  • Monitor progress and address delays proactively

Quality & Safety Management

  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

  • Enforce OSHA guidelines and company safety policies

Problem Solving & Field Support

  • Resolve on-site issues, including delays, conflicts, and technical challenges

  • Assist in reviewing RFIs and submittals and provide input on construction methods

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide weekly project updates to the Project Manager

  • Maintain clear communication between field teams and office staff

Qualifications
  • Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices

  • Understanding of OSHA safety standards and code compliance

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
