What You’ll Do
  • Project Manager Leadership: Directly manage, coach, and hold Reconstruction Project Managers accountable across multiple locations.
  • Financial Performance: Oversee job profitability, cash flow, collections, budgets, forecasting, and the overall financial health of assigned markets.
  • Production Oversight: Monitor active reconstruction projects to ensure jobs move efficiently from initial inspection through completion, collection, and closeout.
  • Operational Accountability: Review market performance, identify problems early, and create clear corrective plans when locations or Project Managers fall behind.
  • Job and Data Management: Ensure Project Managers maintain accurate scopes, budgets, notes, statuses, documentation, and financial information within JobNimbus and related systems.
  • Team Development: Train and develop Project Managers, reinforce company expectations, and address performance or accountability issues directly.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with operations, accounting, recruiting, scheduling, mitigation teams, and company leadership to remove obstacles and support assigned locations.
  • Market Support: Assist with launching, stabilizing, and scaling reconstruction operations in developing markets.
  • Travel: Travel approximately once per month to assigned locations for jobsite reviews, team development, market evaluations, and operational support.
What We’re Looking For
  • Significant hands-on experience in insurance restoration, reconstruction, or residential and light commercial construction.
  • Deep understanding of insurance-related reconstruction, including estimating, approved scopes, supplements, change orders, carrier requirements, production, collections, and job closeout.
  • Proven experience leading multiple Project Managers, production teams, or geographically dispersed operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, job costing, net profit, cash flow, collections, and overall market financial performance.
  • Ability to evaluate operational and financial data, identify the source of performance problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach employees, enforce accountability, navigate difficult conversations, and drive measurable results.
  • Ability to manage multiple markets and priorities without losing visibility or follow-through.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately once per month.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

  • Strong working knowledge of Xactimate, JobNimbus, or comparable estimating and construction management platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience successfully improving underperforming restoration markets, launching new locations, or scaling multi-market reconstruction operations.
