Construction Manager – Lead Premier Commercial Interior Renovations


Job Overview:

  • Company: TCC.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 - $120,000 Base + Up to 22.5% Performance Bonus.
  • Location: Hybrid / Travel (New Jersey Service Area).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Schedule: 3-4 days on jobsites; 1-2 days per week in-office.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle.


The Opportunity

You will serve as the company’s primary authority on construction mobilization and execution, transforming approved scopes into predictable on-site outcomes. This role empowers you to run multiple high-end projects "quietly" while mentoring superintendents and scaling field operations for a firm with a 35-year legacy. You will bridge the gap between design intent and physical reality, ensuring every project meets our rigorous standards for quality and safety.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Direct construction mobilization and execution internals to ensure project plans transition seamlessly into high-quality field results.
  • Develop and manage complex production schedules and look-ahead plans to identify constraints and maintain predictable progress.
  • Coordinate diverse subcontractors across all trades to ensure optimal staffing levels and rapid resolution of on-site logistical conflicts.
  • Enforce strict safety and quality standards through diligent inspections and the leadership of field superintendents.
  • Oversee the daily reporting discipline and documentation quality to provide the leadership team with clear visibility into jobsite status.
  • Execute punch list completion and closeout protocols to deliver clean turnovers and maintain predictable completion cycles.
  • Partner with Project Success Managers to align real-world field conditions with internal project commitments and client expectations.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7–12+ years of progressive construction experience with a focus on leadership.
  • Proven track record as a Lead Superintendent or in an equivalent senior field leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex project scopes concurrently.
  • Strong command of production scheduling, sequencing, and look-ahead planning systems.
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and challenging detailed construction documents and specifications.
  • Advanced competency in Google Workspace and Excel for reporting and collaboration.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Specific experience in commercial interiors, multi-phase renovations, or occupied-site construction.
  • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and mentoring teams of superintendents or junior field staff.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or JobTread.
  • Experience in specialized sectors including senior care, hospitality, or residential homeowner communities.
