Job description

Audubon is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in our Off-Site Office for a short-term field assignment supporting the construction of a large above-ground water storage facility in Converse County, Wyoming. This role is ideal for a seasoned field professional who can step in quickly and effectively manage on-site construction activities in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and field teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Monitor project progress and maintain schedule adherence
  • Perform quality control oversight and inspections
  • Provide regular updates to project leadership
  • Identify and resolve field issues to maintain efficiency

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

  • All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
  • Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
  • Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
  • Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
  • Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Strong experience managing industrial or infrastructure construction projects
  • Experience with large tanks, water storage, or similar facilities preferred
  • Proven leadership and field coordination skills
  • Ability to work extended schedules (6 days/week, 10-hour days)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
