What You’ll Get to Do
Echo Power is seeking a Mechanical-focused Construction Manager to support the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects. In this field-focused role, you will work closely with Engineers, Project Managers, Program Managers, and Site Representatives to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution across healthcare and critical facility environments.
This role requires a strong onsite presence and frequent travel to support project needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as site superintendent, overseeing onsite construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards and OSHA requirements
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and scope of work
  • Oversee quality control including installation verification, material acceptance, and site safety practices
  • Maintain project communication and documentation in CMiC
  • Conduct site walks to support estimating and project planning
  • Develop and coordinate outage plans with customers, utilities, and subcontractors
  • Forecast manpower needs and track construction costs across projects
  • Manage equipment inspections, material logistics, and submittals
  • Review drawings and provide constructability feedback and technical recommendations
  • Coordinate electrical testing, commissioning, and energization activities
  • Maintain onsite leadership during key construction milestones
Skills amp; Abilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, power distribution, and construction practices
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to lead field activities and meet project deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with CMiC preferred
  • Strong work ethic and professional presence

Education amp; Experience
  • 3+ years of construction experience, preferably in a healthcare or critical infrastructure environment

Preferred Certifications:
  • NICET or NETA certification
Work Environment
This is a field-based role with travel averaging 75-80%. Remote work is supported when not onsite. Candidates should reside within reasonable proximity to a commercial airport to support travel requirements.
