Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and legal services to contractors, design professionals, developers, and individuals in disputes involving defect claims, torts, contractual issues, and other construction-related matters.
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions
  • Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
  • Prepare pleadings and correspondence
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
