Pay: $105,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year

Location: Melville, NY – This is an on-site position where you'll work closely with an experienced litigation team while enjoying occasional flexibility to work remotely for personal appointments when appropriate.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the New York Bar and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. Construction litigation experience is strongly preferred, though attorneys with other strong litigation backgrounds will also be considered.

Job Description

  • Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Represent clients in Federal and State Courts throughout New York and New Jersey.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
  • Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys on construction litigation, professional liability, and commercial litigation matters.
  • Build strong client relationships while delivering practical, cost-effective legal solutions.

Qualifications

  • Active New York Bar license.
  • 2+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to manage litigation files independently while working collaboratively.
  • Construction litigation experience strongly preferred.
