Job Title: Construction Laborer

Location: Saco, ME

Company: PM Construction

About Us: General Contractor who specializes entirely in commercial and retail construction and provides design/build services and construction management services.

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist our construction crew in all stages of building projects. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials, preparing construction sites, digging trenches, operating hand and power tools, and maintaining a clean work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and have a willingness to learn and follow directions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with construction site preparation, including cleaning and clearing debris and digging trenches.
  • Load and unload construction materials.
  • Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced construction workers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
