Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail oriented, professional Construction Estimator to inspect sites and prepare estimates for construction project completion. Qualified candidates will be able to complete site inspections, develop estimates and compile material take offs/budgets to keep progressing projects forward.

Functions: Responsible for the management and preparing of accurate, timely estimates on potential projects for local and regional projects.

  • Prepare construction estimates by performing onsite inspections and creating the necessary scope of work based on specifications and site conditions
  • Identify labor, material, and time requirements through the generation of TAM reports and related documents
  • Review the construction job process with potential clients to ensure an understanding of how the job will progress
  • Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
  • Contributes to team effort and works as part of the team
  • Keep current in industry changes in products, service, and policy's and help evaluate results and competitive developments

Requirements:

  • Construction estimating experience
  • Xactimate experience
  • Construction experience and knowledge of systems and products
  • Proficient in MS office, Excel, typing and computer navigation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
