Job description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • High school graduate preferred with general mathematical skills.
  • Current driver’s license with a driving record to meet the minimum requirements of the company insurance agency. Must have or obtain transportation to and from various job sites.  Job sites mostly are along the Wasatch front.
  • One year or more of increasingly responsible experience in the construction industry associated with small to large scale equipment.
  • Steel toe boots and tape measure are required.  Company provides gloves and proper PPE.
  • English language is required, both in verbal and written forms.
  • Must work according to the project schedules, manage personal productivity, complete work without constant supervision and complete all tasks in a professional manner on any project.
  • Operation of hand tools and some gas power tools, as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift and control equipment and materials up to 50 pounds, have the ability to walk throughout the construction work site, navigating around construction materials and equipment safely.
  • Excellent eyesight, with or without correction and excellent hearing.
  • Standing, walking, operating equipment and driving for long periods of time.
  • The position frequently requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and lifting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high commitment in meeting strict deadlines in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • The employee may be exposed to working conditions that include working near loud, large heavy equipment and near moving mechanical parts. 
  • This position requires working outdoors in inclement weather conditions, year-round.
  • Early start workdays, occasional night and weekend work required.
