About this Role

Theย Skilled Laborer performs a variety of field construction and maintenance tasks under the supervision of higher-level employees.ย Work involvesย assistingย crews with general labor, equipment operation, job site preparation, and supporting extra workloads, absences, and vacations, as well as unusual changes in the production area or weather conditions. The position is primarily outdoors and requires clothingย appropriate forย changing seasons and weather conditions.ย Travelingย out of town to work on remote job sites may beย requiredย as directed by management. Skilled Laborers are classified into three levels-Skilled Laborer I, II, and III-based on experience, skillย proficiency, and ability to work independently.ย

  • Skilled Laborer I - Entry Level:ย Entry-level; on-the-job training provided by department trainer.ย 
  • Skilled Laborer II - Intermediate Level: Minimum ofย 2,000 hoursย meeting or exceeding all Skilled Laborer I (Laborer I) requirements.ย 
  • Skilled Laborer III - Advanced Level:ย Minimum ofย 3,000 hoursย meeting or exceeding all Skilled Laborer II (Laborer II) requirements.ย

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.ย 

Certifications:ย 

  • OSHA 10 safety trainingย required:ย 
  • For Skilled Laborer I and II: Must complete OSHA 10 withinย 30 daysย of hire if not already held.ย
