Our Opportunity:

Corenic is seeking Healthcare Construction Project Manager for their Operations department. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overall direction of construction projects of the company and is a key member of the Operations/Project Management Department. In this role, the candidate is responsible for establishing project objectives and policies, maintaining relationships with prime client contracts, and monitoring construction and financial activities through on-site PM's or Construction Managers. The following are essential duties and key responsibilities:

  • As Project Manager, you will be a part of a leadership team dedicated to directing the day-to-day management of the project.
  • Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
  • Manage schedule, determine project objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Complete buyout of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with client, architect and/or engineer.
  • Provide technical assistance with interpretation of drawings, methods and equipment needed. Represent company in project meetings.
  • Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Assist with preparing bids and proposal submissions to clients.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager 
  • 5+ years of experience managing other project managers/staff
  • Prior experience with healthcare construction projects and healthcare project requirements
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve quickly
  • Excellent skills establishing rapport with clients, vendors, team members and leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience with consistently maintaining project related paperwork
