If you're an experienced Project Manager specializing in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Special Inspection (SI) who's ready to take on more complex projects, expand your technical and leadership skills, and work with a fun, collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.As a Construction Materials Project Engineer Project Manager, you will lead projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction throughout each phase. You'll play a key role in driving project success by overseeing technical execution, mentoring field and engineering staff, and fostering strong client and contractor relationships. Your work directly contributes to construction quality, structural integrity, and long-term project performance. Through a balance of project management, field oversight, technical expertise, and business development, you will help advance operational excellence and support the continued growth of the organization.Your Day-to-Day:Project Leadership & Execution: Manage CMT and Special Inspection projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, and technical oversight, while ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and IBC requirements. Client & Contractor Collaboration: Work closely with clients and contractors through meetings and site visits to confirm project requirements, review progress, and maintain strong, service-driven relationships. Technical Oversight & Mentorship: Lead inspections, review field documentation, and mentor technicians and engineers to ensure accurate testing, quality reporting, and adherence to project specifications. Reporting, Proposals & Quality Control: Oversee reports, proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates to ensure accuracy, alignment with project needs, and timely delivery.
