FONDREN CONSTRUCTION is looking to hire a General Laborerin the Jackson, MS area.


Under general supervision, responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations of construction site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
  2. Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  3. Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes.
  4. Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
  5. Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
  6. Assisting other skilled tradespeople in their duties.
  7. Communicate with supervisors/foreman. This will include verbal, written or following provided
    construction plan sets..
