Job Summary

Verify all company technical specifications for construction are followed for inspected jobs. Perform field inspector duties by reviewing work completed by contract & in-house technicians.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to ensure LSCG follows all field construction specifications and guidelines as outlined by each project.
  • Perform field inspections (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as OSHA & FCC & following procedures as outlined in the Field Inspector Guidelines).
  • Interact with business customers & representatives, demonstrating an understanding of & regard for construction project.
  • Assist supervisor, when necessary, in following up on unacceptable workmanship to ensure work is completed to customer and company specifications.
  • Recognize & escalate to a supervisor persistent field inspection issues or other observed factors that could impact the ongoing relationship between client and company.
  • Evaluate field inspector standards audit program to ensure all work passes the client's specifications prior to billing.
  • Utilize & demonstrate proficiency with construction tasks, tools, test equipment & information that will enhance field inspection results.
  • Enter inspection findings in established company database in accordance with policy & procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Operate communications device in accordance with company policies.
  • Operate a company vehicle in a safe & responsible manner; Clean, maintain, stock & secure assigned vehicle & equipment in accordance with company policies.
  • Adhere to industry specific, local, state & federal regulations, as applicable.
  • Know, understand & follow company policy.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Assist in driving a field inspector-centered culture in all project and field offices.
Qualifications:

Fiber/Coax Construction or Permitting/Design Exp Preferred

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Solid financial management skills including forecasting, analyzing and planning
  • Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and anticipate and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
