We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.# **Job Summary**We are currently seeking a construction/field engineer to join our TYLin's PMCM team for an upcoming electrical project# **Responsibilities & Qualifications****Responsibilities:*** Coordinating and working with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis, studies and forecasting.* Verify construction documents to field conditions.* Conduct in-depth research to develop recommendations for approaches, concepts, materials and equipment selection.* Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work such as to perform quantity take-offs for development of engineering estimate.* Assure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths, follow Quality Assurance and Control procedures.* Prepare project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports.* Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors.* Review contractor invoicing to verify quantities and enter contractor invoices into Client’s online system.* Additional responsibilities as assigned.**Qualifications:*** BS in Civil Engineering or related field preferred with an electrical background.* EIT Certification preferred.* 1+ years of construction (office) engineer experience is required.* Previous infrastructure construction experience with a city agency such as MNR is a plus* Requires knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards.* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.* Experience coordinating with multiple contractors and trades at one time in the field.* Knowledge of meeting construction schedules and budgets.* Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.* Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.* High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.* Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.# **Additional Information**TYLin is committed to pay equity.As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $86,900- $110,300 annually for this position and local market.
