THE POSITION: We're hiring a dependable Driver to support our purchasing department with daily pickups and deliveries. You'll pick up will-call orders from vendors, move materials and equipment from jobsite to jobsite, and make sure the paperwork behind every run gets back to purchasing accurately. This is an on-site position with a company vehicle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pick up will-call and stock orders from vendors and suppliers on a daily route
  • Pick up and transfer materials, tools, and equipment from jobsite to jobsite as project needs shift
  • Maintain accountability of all tools and equipment per CSE policy, including check-out/check-in and periodic inventory Deliver materials and supplies to jobsites, the warehouse, and other designated locations on schedule
  • Verify order accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips before leaving the vendor or jobsite
  • Return signed packing slips, receipts, transfer forms, and delivery confirmations to purchasing promptly
  • Flag shortages, damaged goods, back orders, and substitutions to the purchasing team immediately
  • Load and unload vehicles safely, securing loads properly for transport
  • Assist with receiving, staging, labeling, and general warehouse organization between runs
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and service-current
  • Coordinate route changes, jobsite-to-jobsite transfers, and rush requests with purchasing throughout the day

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of driving experience in a delivery, courier, warehouse, or materials role
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record; must meet company insurance requirements
  • Familiarity with purchase orders, packing slips, and material transfer documentation
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365 basics - Outlook, Teams, and simple mobile data entry
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet throughout the day
  • Comfortable working in and around active jobsites and following site safety requirements
  • Strong sense of urgency, accuracy with paperwork, and clear communication with vendors, field crews, and office staff
  • Good local-area navigation skills and reliable, on-time attendance
  • Forklift certification, DOT experience, or construction/industrial materials knowledge a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $20 - $22 per Hour
