Job description

Tetra Tech needs a full-time, temporary Electrical Tradesman with a Telecom and TSS background in New Delhi, India (live position, not proposal) for construction of 28 Acre $575M New U.S. Embassy Compound (NEC) with State Dept. Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project 

  • 28 Acre $575M New US Embassy Compound (NEC) multi-building complex including:
    • New Office Building (NOB) and Support Annexes (SPXs)
    • New Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR) and Staff Housing
    • Warehouses and Perimeter Walls
    • Demolition of existing facilities
    • Installation of new Utility Infrastructure System
    • and more!
     

Position Description

  • Provide NEC project with full range of critical engineering and construction management oversight.
  • Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
  • Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements

  • US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
  • High school diploma
  • 7-10 years construction experience
