Job Title: Construction Laborer - De Soto, KS

Job Description

This entry-level construction laborer role supports a large data center project by performing a variety of basic construction tasks, including site cleanup, material handling, and general labor activities. You will work as part of a small crew and contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient job site throughout a long-term construction project.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general construction labor tasks such as site cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Set up, install, and maintain temporary fencing, banners, and other site protection or signage as directed.
  • Move, load, and unload construction materials and equipment safely around the job site, including heavy lifting as needed.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to support basic construction activities in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Assist skilled trades and other crew members with various tasks to support daily construction operations.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a two-person laborer crew.
  • Adhere to all site safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues to supervision promptly.
  • Arrive on time and work a consistent schedule of 10-hour shifts, maintaining productivity throughout the day.
  • Support long-term project needs by remaining flexible and willing to take on additional duties as the project evolves.
