We are currently seeking motivated General Laborers to support a mining client in a dynamic production environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and eager to work in a hands-on mining setting.

Position Summary

The traveling General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks that support daily mining site operations. This role assists equipment operators, maintenance personnel, and site supervisors with general site cleanup, material handling, equipment support, and other labor-intensive duties necessary to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general physical labor duties in support of mining operations
  • Assist with site cleanup, shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal around work areas
  • Support equipment operators and maintenance crews as needed
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
  • Follow all mine site safety rules, procedures, and MSHA regulations
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues promptly
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support production needs
Qualifications
  • Previous labor experience in mining, construction, industrial, or outdoor environments preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in rugged outdoor conditions
  • MSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
  • Flexibility to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, dust, noise, and uneven terrain
  • Must be able to wear required PPE at all times on site
