Retail Sales Associate (Part-Time)

The Sales Associate is responsible for conducting daily store operations in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Duties include donation solicitation and processing, inventory management, financial reporting, and facility upkeep. The position also provides directions to volunteers and client participants, ensuring engagement in meaningful tasks while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Your Role & Responsibilities –

  • Maintains store policies and procedures.
  • Open and closes buildings, as required.
  • Solicits donations/arranges pick-ups, as required.
  • Maintains consignment system, as required.
  • Sorts/prices donations.
  • Manage inventory display and merchandising.
  • Maintains property and inventory, keeping the facility organized and cleaned.
  • Performs financial operations to include daily register readings and reports, deposits, etc.
  • Works with and coordinates assignments for store volunteers.
  • Coordinates client involvement at the store by assigning tasks to client groups daily/weekly, assures supplies are available, coordinates with supervisor with any concerns/needs relative to staff/clients, directs activities of staff and clients involved in work for the Shop.
  • Attend weekly meetings, reporting to the Store Manager as required.
  • Participates in meetings to coordinate with other programs, as required.

Qualifications –

  • High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
  • One year of Sale/Resale experience
  • One year’s experience in a retail environment

Pay–

$17.00 Hourly

Status –

Part-Time

Schedule –

Open availability + Saturdays is a must!
