Job Description

This role offers a starting range of $23 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to work at our corporate office in Schaumburg. This position will work from 9AM - 5:00PM. The person in this role will manage and process orders received by email (mostly) and telephone from our external customers and INX employees. As a CSR you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing orders for billing and related functions
  • Receiving, investigating and responding to customer concerns about product, service or billing
  • Performing consignment inventory and billing functions
  • Preparing reports for management and customers
  • Providing administrative support to mini plant accounts by entering data associated with inventory capture movement and relief, either stock or customer filled
  • Performing searches for internal and external procurement of materials, both raw and finished goods; maintain all related mini plant data in SAP 
  • Generating and resending emailed shipping or billing documents. 
  • Scanning documents.
  • Tracking shipments for customers. 
  • Logging damaged shipments for credit or returns in S4.  
  • Invoice international shipments. 
  • Coding and processing vendor invoices
  • Processing Computer orders, leases, obsolete
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Effectively communicate with peers and customers
  • Demonstrate good computer skills (intermediate) in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Have excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension, and demonstrate a professional phone manner
  • Show good math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages, and discounts
  • Be an excellent problems solver, involving several variables in standard situations
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Work independently, as well as in a team in multi-tasks simultaneously.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Associate degree from 2-year college or trade school
  • SAP experience 
  • Some accounts payable experience
