Join Conserva Irrigation of North Indianapolis, a proud member of a respected national franchise known for innovation and water conservation. We are seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Technician to help us elevate our services and grow with our team.
Who We're Looking For
We're searching for an experienced irrigation technician with a strong background and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the field. The ideal candidate will excel at diagnosing and executing repairs for both residential and commercial irrigation systems and will skillfully identify opportunities for efficiency upgrades.
  • Expert Troubleshooter: Able to assess, diagnose, and repair a wide range of irrigation system issues, including pumps and 2-wire systems, with minimal supervision.
  • Efficiency Specialist: Demonstrates technical insight to recommend and implement system enhancements, upgrades, and water-saving solutions.
  • Indiana Backflow Tester Certification
  • CIT Certification: Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) from the Irrigation Association preferred.
  • Communication Pro: Capable of explaining repair needs, inefficiencies, and system upgrade recommendations to customers in a clear, professional, and educational manner.
  • Proposal Master: Experienced with CRM software for building detailed proposals and invoices, ensuring comprehensive documentation and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems-valves, manifolds, pumps, controllers, sensors, and 2-wire systems
  • Identify and communicate system inefficiencies and recommend upgrades to clients
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive proposals and invoices via CRM software
  • Educate customers on repair needs and efficiency solutions
  • Install and maintain smart controllers, micro and drip irrigation, and advanced sensors
  • Support industry certification and pursue continuing education opportunities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Indiana Backflow Tester Certification
  • CIT (Certified Irrigation Technician) certification from the Irrigation Association
  • Proficiency with CRM systems for proposal and invoice management
  • Experience working with pumps and 2-wire irrigation technology
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Clean driving record
  • Motivated, results-oriented, and eager to grow within the company
