Overview

We are seeking a BMS (Business Management System) Consultant with experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space to drive operational maturity and PSA optimization initiatives. This is a clientโ€‘facing role that requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a consultative mindset.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in MSP operations and ConnectWise, combined with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a fastโ€‘paced consulting environment. This role is designed to evolve with the organization, offering opportunities to expand both technical and consulting capabilities over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery sessions to assess client PSA environments, operational workflows, and business objectives
  • Design and implement scalable process improvements within PSA platforms, with a strong focus on financial and operational alignment
  • Configure and optimize PSA modules including:
    • Product catalog and service structuring
    • Chart of accounts alignment
    • General ledger integration and financial workflows
    • Ticketing, dispatch, and service delivery processes
  • Translate business requirements into standardized workflows, automation, and system configurations
  • Advise clients on MSP best practices across service delivery, pricing models, and operational efficiency
  • Support post-M&A integration efforts, including PSA consolidation, data normalization, and process harmonization
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders and operational leaders to align systems with business strategy
  • Provide documentation, training, and change management support to ensure successful adoption
Required Qualifications
  • Deep MSP experience with a strong understanding of service delivery, finance, and operations
  • Strong working knowledge of ConnectWise and how MSPs leverage PSA systems in daily operations. Equivalent PSA expertise in other platforms a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Chart of Accounts (CoA) design and alignment
    • General Ledger (GL) integration and financial reporting
    • Product catalog structuring and pricing models
  • Prior handsโ€‘on experience in MSP operations (e.g., Service Desk Manager, Dispatcher, PSA Administrator)
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into system and process design
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving client and business needs
  • Experience working in or supporting larger MSP environments ($5M+ in revenue) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior consulting experience in a clientโ€‘facing capacity
  • Experience supporting post-M&A MSP integrations is a plus

  • Exposure to KPI development, reporting frameworks, and operational benchmarking
