Come work at Connections Services, LLC and make a difference!

We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.

We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have part time weekend positions available! 7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm shifts!

Starting Salary: $17.00-$18.00 hourly

Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do?

DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
  • Teaching and maintaining skills
  • Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance
  • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
  • Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans
  • Medication administration
  • Participating in fun recreational activities with residents!

Our DSP jobs are ideal for someone who:

  • No degree is required! If you have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and are over the age of 18, we will provide all of the training that you need to provide high-quality care; no experience is necessary
  • DSPs are people-oriented - they assist individuals with their care giver skills, provide Home Services, and strive to improve their quality of life!
  • Care givers are adaptable and flexible - they enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction that keep their work day interesting
  • They are dependable - provide efficient and exemplary personal care assistance

Minimum Qualifications:
18 years of age or older

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
