Heavy Pipe Yard Laborer

Pay: $16.00 per hour + Overtime
Location: Baytown, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Connect Staffing Solutions is hiring Heavy Pipe Yard Laborers for one of our clients, a leading steel pipe manufacturing company in Baytown, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing facility that supplies steel pipe products to the energy and industrial sectors. Previous industrial or heavy labor experience is strongly preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, move, and organize steel pipe and materials
  • Perform heavy manual labor in a busy industrial pipe yard
  • Lift and carry 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Assist with staging materials for production and shipping
  • Use hand tools and follow all safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of heavy labor experience in manufacturing, construction, pipe yard, steel yard, warehouse, or a similar industrial environment
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs continuously
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation
  • Steel-toe boots required
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Authorized to work in the United States
