We're seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support a large public-sector contact center modernization initiative. In this role, you'll design, build, and deploy Salesforce solutions that directly support high-volume crisis/case management call workflows — mission-driven work where your development directly impacts how the organization serves the public.

What You'll Do

  • Hands-on CRM development supporting critical call center workflows, including coding and delivering user stories
  • Partner with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and enhancements
  • Own release cycles for implementing and deploying new and updated applications
  • Hold overall technical responsibility for the project environment
  • Establish and enforce development guidelines and standards for the team
  • Collaborate with developers on other systems to integrate across the business
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise security guidelines and standards
  • Communicate strategic technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Build a training plan to support a smooth transition to Maintenance & Operations

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the full Salesforce Development Lifecycle
  • 4+ years developing on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications via standard and custom REST APIs
  • Experience with core web technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML)
  • Hands-on experience implementing OAuth and other authentication protocols for third-party integrations
  • Demonstrated experience with Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development
