(Sr.) Manager Microscopy (all genders) Your Responsibilities and Duties
  • Providing disciplinary and technical leadership for the R&D microscopy group
  • Strategic development of all microscopy technologies (SPM, sSNOM, confocal, Raman)
  • Overall responsibility for the technical roadmap, system architectures, and product quality
  • Close collaboration with the business unit to ensure the economic viability of technology and portfolio decisions
  • Ensuring technological and economic feasibility (design-to-cost, manufacturing optimization, manufacturability)
  • Managing and prioritizing customer-specific solutions
  • Leading interdisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineering, electronics, and software
  • Representing the division in strategic committees and technology initiatives
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD or master’s degree in physics, nanotechnology, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in the development of microscopes, ideally including SPM
  • In-depth knowledge of Scanning Probe microscopy and Optics
  • Experience with system architectures for complex technological products
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Experience in the economic evaluation of technical solutions
  • Confident leadership style with a high level of technical expertise
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
